From the head of school
"Our mission is to provide an innovative approach to education, inspiring each and every student to discover their strengths within a community of future leaders. We take pride in knowing each and every one of our students. Our warm and stimulating environment encourages all our students to discover their strengths.
"I have been a geography and business management teacher and, during the last 12 years, director of schools in Singapore, Montenegro, Ecuador and Spain, leading dynamic, outstanding community schools and working with many inspirational staff members, students and families.
"I come to ICS London from my most recent leadership roles, the Founding Principal of EtonHouse International Education Group in Singapore and before that as Interim Director of the British School of Málaga, Spain. During the most recent years of my career, I have had the rewarding role of an Executive Coach, empowering leaders and transforming organisations, working with Fortune 500 companies down to smaller multinational organisations.
"I have been a leader and team member in schools, and have held pivotal roles in building new schools, turning around failing schools and leading change management. I also look forward to working with colleagues at ICS London to develop coaching and mindfulness programmes for our students and teachers.
"I pride myself in recruiting, developing and empowering high-functioning teams that work with students to secure outstanding internal and external examination results and, as an IB accreditor, I can offer ICS London my specialist knowledge of the PYP, MYP and IBDP."
– Mr Alec Jiggins, ICS London Head of School
What the parents say
“After living internationally for a couple of years, our children were missing the multicultural environment and experiential learning of the IB. ICS London offers a great community to learn in a diverse culture and excel in various areas.
“In ICS London, learning is experienced through a combination of academic subjects, co-curricular activities and application-based approaches. The staff and teachers support the students’ learning journey and guide them to take responsibility for their growth and development. They work with the students to balance academics and overall well-being through various activities. This made a lot of difference to our children’s learning.”
